Our co-founders, Cory Flannery and Will Ward met from their relationship in the early CBD manufacturing days. Cory was focused on manufacturing and brand creation for brands in North Carolina. Will and his father had a brand and distribution business that focused on North Carolina and the neighboring states. They eventually met through manufacturing, and as their relationship grew over the years, Will and Cory decided to hop into business together. Specifically, about when Delta-8 became the popular cannabinoid in late 2019. With Cory’s manufacturing and branding background, combined with Will’s sales background, they hit the ground running!
“In 2018 the federal farm bill legalized hemp across the nation. I did a lot of research into cannabis, specifically hemp and started purchasing products to try out. Additionally, my mom found an amazing full-spectrum hemp-based topical that she started using for the inflammation in her knees. She was thoroughly surprised to find it worked better than countless doctor-prescribed products. That was the very moment I believed hemp-based products could change people's lives for the better. I got into the industry because I believe hemp/cannabis products can help people improve the quality of their lives!"

“When the 2018 farm bill came around, I had a client from the vintage watch industry who helped give insight writing the bill. Additionally, top-shelf cannabis has always been a love and passion of mine. I saw the opportunity to bring incredible CBD products to market under the new bill. Partnering with some friends, I jumped into the industry full force. I spent the first 6 months really learning about all that the cannabis plant had to offer. After months of spinning our wheels on how to solidify our place in the market, we pursued the manufacturing space of CBD with flower and pre-rolls. As we learned about more cannabinoids and their respective attributes, we saw the potential to bring real medicine to people and expand such product lines.”
